Kindergarten & Primary School
DRC
YOBAC is mobilizing resources to support the opening of the YOBAC Kindergarten and Primary School in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country faces significant challenges in its education sector, including limited access, poor infrastructure, and the lingering impact of conflicts, despite the implementation of free primary education. While enrollment has increased, learning outcomes remain unsatisfactory, with many students struggling to master basic skills.
YOBAC believes that education is a powerful tool for healing and rebuilding communities torn apart by violence. As part of its broader commitment to supporting the education of vulnerable children,
YOBAC is also engaged in initiatives aimed at increasing school enrollment for orphans of war. Many of these children have lost parents due to conflict and face unimaginable hardship. YOBAC provides them with essential school materials such as books, pens, and uniforms to ensure they can continue their education.
In addition to traditional learning, YOBAC aims to equip young people with skills in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. By creating a supportive learning environment, YOBAC provides children with the tools they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
