Agriculture
Uganda
YOBAC supports young people and women in agriculture through training, capacity building, and financial support. The program emphasizes sustainable farming techniques such as organic manure production, crop rotation, vertical gardening, and water conservation to enhance food security. Additionally, YOBAC provides farming tools, organic fertilizers, and drought-resistant seeds while establishing community demonstration farms for hands-on learning.
Our agriculture initiatives are being introduced to provide sustainable food solutions in densely populated refugee settlements. By promoting vertical farming, YOBAC enables refugee families to grow their own food in limited spaces, reducing dependence on external aid and improving nutrition.
