Vocational Skills & Entrepreneurship

Uganda

YOBAC Organization Limited equips women and youth with skills in tailoring, soap-making, basket weaving, and small-scale agribusiness to create diverse income opportunities.

One success story is Birungi Rosemary, who graduated from our tailoring program in 2021. She went on to establish her own tailoring workshop in the settlement and has since employed 11 young girls. She now partners with YOBAC School to design and supply uniforms for over 700 children.

Additionally, YOBAC provides training in financial literacy and microenterprise development to help participants effectively manage savings and investments. Organizing savings groups and cooperatives promotes entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency, further strengthening community resilience.
